The analysis of a young malaysian...

In politics, a defector is a person who gives up allegiance to one state or political entity in exchange for allegiance to another. The term is sometimes used as a synonym for Traitor.

For me...its not about political party...but its a sad fa
ct that if there is and there are politicians of any side choose to change side irrespective they are from BN or DAP or PKR or PAS...clearly they are DEFECTING...
in another words...acting traitorous...let me ask my fellow malaysian...what are your opinion of TRAITORS? or in a better language...defector...are they people with principal?are they people of trustworthiness?are they people who stands by what they represent and who they represent?are they people of decorum and respect?...i would suggest that you will sadly find the answer "NO, THEY ARE NOT!"....

In the past, roman and greek time...traitors are killed, or if let alive due to contribution last time as in war and knowledge, they will be viewed as a degradable human being...
Let me illustrate to you...
Julius Caeser was killed by
a group of senators, led by Caesar's former friend Marcus Junius Brutus, assassinated the dictator, who defect from Julius Caeser's side because of undue influence, which was in Marcus's believe that he acted in the best interest of the people...
We all know how do we feel that when we entrust someone to do something for our sake, and then that someone goes on with the knowledge that whatever you are going to do is for your best benefit...goes on and support ur enemy instead...let this be in the context of our voted MP, the MP's that represented they own political party, defected from their respective party...did not they took away the trust and believe of these people that they had said will duly serve?did they not show the world what traitorous people they are?did not they like in Caesar's assasination, betray Caesar's trust on them to rule the government with him as ruler with loyalty to him?

Well, u might say that when Marcus lead the stab against Caesar, he was doing because he thought it was the best interest of the Roman people...but look what happen...
After the assassination, Brutus stepped forward as if to say something to his fellow senators; they, however, fled the building. Brutus and his companions then marched to the Capitol while crying out to their beloved city: "People of Rome, we are once again free!". They were met with silence, as the citizens of Rome had locked themselves inside their houses as soon as the rumour of what had taken place had begun to spread. Therefore, it marks the collapse of the Roman Empire. How it collapse, i would not need to illustrate to you...

My dearest elected Members of Parliament...u owe the trust of the people who voted for you to represent them and represent your party...u also owe a trust and duty to serve your ruler and ur leader of ur party...defect you can do my dearest MP, defect when the next general election comes and do it with dignity and trustworthiness by announcing you are changing party and with the proper procedure...Do not think that defecting now is something noble...as you will find yourself like Marcus after he march to the Capitol Hill to signal his achievement, he only got slamming doors from the Roman as people are afraid to trust him anymore...and so does it reflect to you my dearest MP's...that the people of your respective constituencies, will not be able to trust you anymore...irrespective of your political party...

With this, im happy that the Election Committee will introduce the bill of anti-hopping, and hopefully it will past legislation as soon as possible...
